I'm looking for a Junior Reporting Specialist for our HQ Reporting Dept.
The candidate will report directly to the Head of Reporting dept.
Main activities:
- Create and coordinate the preparation and release of financial and management reports
- Research, review, and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing report procedures and systems and develop strategies for enhancing or leveraging these processes and systems
- Work directly with decision makers and end users to understand, define, and document current and possible future reporting goals, needs, and requirements
- Develop, coordinate distribution, and maintain reporting templates for investment to report financial and operational information
- Retrieve and utilize information from the accounting system and other data sources and, when necessary, recommend and manage the development and implementation of ETL processes
- Design, develop, publish, and maintain management dashboards
- Research and recommend key performance indicators to provide better intelligence in reporting
- Identify automation and process improvement ideas and implement
- Write and maintain processes related to all standard reporting
Skills and Experiences requested:
- experience in Financial Controlling/Reporting Activity (1-2 years)
- Master degree in Economics or Management Engineering
- Good English
- Proven experience with report writing and technical requirements analysis
- Creative and with a strong attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal/customer service skills
- Able to prioritize work and multi-task in a fast-paced setting, willing to take on new projects and be flexible
- Proven experience with reporting tools, software, and other applications such as SAP, Tagetik, Navision etc
- Strong technical skills including the ability to merge data from various sources, write formulas to summarize data, translate data into user-friendly reports, and data mine for necessary drill-down metrics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel (VlookUps, Power Pivot, formulas, etc.)
- Complete understanding of financial statements, including Income Statements, Balance Sheets, Profit/Loss Statements and Cash Flow Statements
Offering: Permanent contract, gross salary 26-30k.
Based in Milan.
