IMS is looking for an Electrical Supervisor who will be responsible for electrical installation of new equipment and modernization upgrades for industrial control systems and automation projects.

Main Tasks:

- Establish preventive maintenance programs for electrical systems

- Communicate with department and field management on all electrical maintenance, installation, and process improvement efforts

- Monitor all electrical engineering projects to ensure successful completion with regard to cost, schedule, and safety

- Coordinate and oversee contractors on major electrical maintenance and repair projects

- Assist field staff in determining and eliminating root causes for unscheduled downtime

- Write and edit PLC programs

- Provide user applications or engineering support or recommendations for new or existing equipment with regard to installation, upgrades, or enhancements

- Perform preventative maintenance or calibration of equipment or systems

Requirements:

- Strong knowledge of PLCs and HMIs

- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems

- Working knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and systems

- Experience with Schneider Electric/SCADAPack PLCs preferred

- Experience in troubleshooting and repairs of power supply and distribution systems, motors, and drives

- Excellent communication, teamwork, planning, and organizing skills

- Fluent in english
